Darya is a nationally and internationally recognised freestyle mogul athlete.
In addition to winning many prizes in Kazakhstan championships, she represented Kazakhstan at the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006, in Vancouver in 2010 and in Sochi in 2014. She also won gold medal in freestyle moguls in the Winter Universiade in 2011.
She regularly takes part in World Championship and European Championships, where she has placed in the prize positions. Darya is also a certified ski instructor.
