Sergey Brodskiy

Sergey is a professional IFMGA-qualified mountain guide and mountain rescue specialist, a former member of the Kazakhstan national mountaineering team, and a nationally-recognised mountaineer with several 8,000m and 7,000m peaks under his belt. He is also an avalanche safety specialist certified by Snow Control Gmbh (Innsbruck, Austria).
Sergey has 20 years of experience in the mountains, including in the Tien-Shan, Altay, Pamir, Caucasus and Himalayas, as a guide, instructor and avalanche safety professional. He’s been Kazakhstan national mountaineering champion on several occasions, as well as a prize-winner in open competitions among mountaineers in Kyrgyzstan and across the CIS.
