If by the start of March you’re missing snowy mountainsides, and if you’re keen to be one of the first people to discover one of Almaty’s most recently-discovered freeride spots, we have the answer – the Turgen valley, one of the most exciting spots around Almaty.
For those who aren’t scared of living in rustic conditions in their pursuit of the snowiest slopes and the best lines, we have something special for you!
We’ll live in a tented campin the mountains, riding lines from the surrounding ridges each day. In the evenings there’ll be time for lectures on avalanche safety and for learning more about ski-touring techniques.
*We’re happy to organise the programme on dates to suit your group – please contact us for more information.
!!! Please note that this programme is designed for skiers / snowboarders who are confident on the piste (including black runs), have some experience of riding off piste, and are in good physical shape.
